Asmanyofyoureaderspointedoutinarelatedpost,Blizzardcouldopenthemselvesuptoapotentialclassactionlawsuitifthelevelsaren'trestored.ThefreelevelsgainedarepartoftheappealoftheRecruit-a-Friendprogramorproduct,andisonethatIsuspectreallygetsalotofconversions.Ofcourse,Orlylaiskeepinghis(orher...youneverknowwiththeseBlizzardpeople...)fingerscrossed,too,sayingthatthelevelsshouldbeworkingfineoncetheserversarebackup"ifallgoeswell".AsDanpointedoutacoupleoftimes,allhasnotbeengoingwellinAzerothlately.
TipstervprpointedourwaytotheforumswhereBlizzardposterOrlylaacknowledgestheissueaboutPatch3.0.2removingthelevelsthatcouldbegrantedfromtheRecruit-a-Friendprogramandsaysthattheissueisbeingaddressedbytoday'smaintenance.It'sareassuringandappropriateresponsetotheissuewhichmakesupforGameMasterIssuntril'sinitialunsympathetic"sorryfortheinconvenience"remarkjustascheapwowgold.
