Shadow priest Face Melting Guide World of Warcraft cd

Some notes:
- This is for solo-purposes, but you can also DPS in groups....just watch your agro...and wear INT gear in instances.
- Keep in mind, you can heal almost as good as a holy priest, so if you get any lip from groups about you being shadow and can't heal, either say: 'The holy tree sucks, I might as well be shadow as I can heal almost as good as a holy priest', leave and get another group or just say you are holy (most people can't tell the difference. Of course, don't use shadow form or mind flay )
- Wear +DAM (shadow) gear. When you are using channeled spells (ie. Mind flay), you get the full benefits of the +dam.
- This template is geared for normal servers. If you are on a PvP server, check out Mongoose's section for his PvP templates. Some talents need to be switched around and you may move in to disc sooner.
- Leveling can be a bitch some times, but stick with it. You will be the most popular kid in school when you hit 60. Consider re-speccing to Holy/Disc at this point to be even more popular )

Races: Undead for horde (Devouring plague), Dwarf for alliance (fear ward).

Professions: Gathering to AH for cash (mining, skinning, herbalism in that order)

Here's the template with level progression:

43-47 Unbreakable will
48-50 Imp shield
51-52 Imp PW:Fort
53-57 Mental Agility
58-60 Imp Inner Fire

After lvl 42 you will have +40% to your shadow-dam. Quite impressive, no? )

Spell order would be something like this: Shield, (MB), SW:P (whilst backing up), MF until dead.

I have found that I don't need to use Mind Blast that often (hence only 2 points in imp MB), as MF will give the same dam for half the mana. However this depends on your current ranks of MB and MF comparitively. The levels just before you get a new MF, may be hard, so feel free to toss in a MB or two to speed things up )
