Flyv's all ready to be decked out in 4/5 T7. Exciting, the feral T7 stats are great and the 4 piece set bonus is fairly useful. It's 3 seconds longer on Barkskin and I'm finding Barkskin is a very valuable way to keep myself alive.
Only I can't wear the T7 gloves when tanking. Why? Because these level 80 quest reward gloves, the Handwraps of Preserved History from Old Stratholme, are just too good. Every tanking gear list I've seen puts these right at the top. The T7 gloves are nice but they have 37 less stamina, no expertise, and just a tiny bit more armor and agility if you gem for it.
It shouldn't be like this. The quest reward is an ilvl 187 blue, the T7 is an ilvl 200 purple. Someone at Blizzard screwed up and overallocated stats on the Handwraps. Enjoy it while it lasts because they'll get around to fixing it eventually. Nothing in the 3.0.8 notes yet, but I'm kind of hoping it's sooner rather than later.
